Magic in the Moonlight „ is film which was directed by Woody Allen in 2014. It is a romantic comedy. It tells a story of Stanley, a British professional magician who Is supposed to disclose a secret of a swindler called Sophie who claims to be a medium. The movie takes place in twenties in the south of France.

The story begins with a magnificent performance of Stanley who acts as Wei Ling Soon, oriental magician in disguise. His friend comes with congratulations backstage and asks him for favor. He is looking for someone who could help him to prove that a woman called Sophie Baker is not a real medium , but a fraud. Sophie is a beautiful, young lady who uses her attractiveness to trick people and take money from them. Stanley decides to help his friend, but he becomes infatuated with good-looking swindler and starts to wonder whether it’s more than reason in the world. Stanley is a man of reason, sceptic and sarcastic, but after his mysterious change he becomes very optimistic person. The cast is excellent . Emma Stone together with Colin Firth are a great couple and viewers can be under their spell thought the whole movie. The script is typical for Woody Allen, very tricky and surprising, it keeps you in suspense. The film reaches a dramatic climax when Stanley tells Sophie that he is in love with her and he turns out to be a fraud.

Don’t miss that chance to watch this hilarious and gripping comedy. It is a great choice both for young and adult. It is well worth seeing because of star-studded cast, a beautiful setting and incredible sense of humor.

MASSIVE HURRICANE
A hurricane hit northern Scotland yesterday morning, causing thousands of pound worth damage to buildings and littering the area with debris. Ten people were killed and twenty are being treated for head and back injuries.
Yesterday morning massive, tempestuous wind started to blow in northern parts of Scotland. A huge whirlwind approached cities approximately at seven and started to move southeast causing massive damages on its way. Several people were badly injured due to trees lying on the streets and roof damages. Eye witnesses claim that they could spot roofs and pieces of buildings flying in the air. It is said that immediately after the first symptoms of hurricane appeared a local radio announced a state of emergency.
A neighborhood association spokesman commented later: “ This is fourth time to experience a hurricane in our neighborhood. Some steps need to be taken to prevent such a loss during this natural disaster. Food storages and special bunkers should be built in our neighborhood to hide in case of emergency.

TERRIBLE CRASH
Last Friday Boeing plane flying from London to RPA crashed at Sahara desert. Five hundred people died and ten were badly injured . It is said that a crash had happed probably due to engine damage.
At five in the morning some signs of the damage were heard and alarmed passengers, who could hear strange noise coming from the engine, called the pilot. Anna Scofield, who survived the accident claimed that the plane started to fall with huge speed at approximately seven in the morning. Even though the seatbelts were fastened some passengers started to fall town the front part of the airplane. Fortunately the plane crashed at Sahara desert therefore, there weren’t any other victims of this accident. The police were called immediately after the accident had happened.
Further investigation will be undertaken to reveal the real cause of the accident. The experts are denying claims that Russian separatist could have something in common with the accident.

Ones upon a time there was a woman, who was really found of detective stories. She could read thousands of books, especially Agatha Christi’s crime stories, all day long. One day she decided to write her own detective story, as she was well-read in this type of literature. Unfortunately that was not as easy as it seems. Seeking for an interesting topic, she went for a walk.

Wandering aimlessly along empty streets, she was trying to came up with an interesting idea. Suddenly, out of nowhere, some strange voices came to her ears. Then she heard hushed conversation between two people. She hid behind some bushes to observe the whole situation. One of the men was strong and corpulent, the other was thin and slim. Both of them were disturbed and seemed to be afraid of something. Then one of them frantically grabbed small package from another one and started to run with it very fast. Stumbling and lurching, he reached his destination. He disappeared immediately in an old ,wooden house, situated on the corner of Elm Road. The door slammed in a strong wind. That day, tempestuous wind was wailing horribly. Woman was confused. She wanted to disclose the secret of mysterious package. After a few minutes elderly lady with red, high-heel shoes came from the building holding puzzling package. Agatha Christi’s fan fallowed her to the bridge where high-heel shoes woman dropped the package into the water. This way, the woman lost track of the package. The next day, the whole city knew about a mysterious disappearance of diamonds from treasury. Besides, police found corpse in the river. They never found out what had happened.

“You never know where you can find an inspiration”-said women with smirk on her face, when she saw the first page of a newspaper. Sometimes it’s enough to step outside your house to find an incredible plot for your blockbuster.

My friend Fred moved to our town few days ago. He was rather shy and reserved boy. From the first moment I have met him I knew that he was unusual person. Unfortunately not everyone accepted him. Leading group of boys in our school decided to make fun of him. They told him that in order to be full member of their clan he needs to go to the woods in the middle of the night and bring the flag of their clan which will be situated in the old, run-down amusement park.

Fred wanted to be accepted by the boys that is way he decided to go there. I was really afraid of him, but he told me to stay out of it. As he reached his destination he could see squalid amusement park with old, rusted machines like a big wheel or roundabouts. Everything looked awful, like from horror movie. Suddenly, he heard a rustle of leaves and an enormously big creature started to move towards him. He was petrified with fear. And then something grabbed his leg. It was huge, with strong claws. He wanted to run, but he couldn’t. Than some strange voices like hooting of owls come to his ears. He was surrounded by strange creatures . Creatures from old circus. There was a man without arms and legs, women with beard, dwarfs, women who could stretch her body and clowns. Everyone was staring at him with threatening smile on their faces. And there was also huge dog which had bitten his leg. And then suddenly a huge wail came to his ears and all intruders ran away quickly almost vanishing in the forest.

When Frank told me this story I didn’t wanted to believe him, but when he gave the flag of clan to the boys and he showed his bleeding leg everyone was impressed. Everyone believed him, but there was something suspicious for me in it. One day I decided to go there to check if he was right and you won’t believe me what I found there…

If you are tired of lying on the beach you can rest in lush gardens and feel delicate and gentle breezes making your skin tingle. Also those who like night time have incredible opportunities to dance and drink tasty, regional drinks. Also food in Thailand is both very cheap and extremely delicious.

Koh Samui is one of the places which you need to see before you die. The beauty of this island is indisputable. Even its name in Thai means “Safe heaven” which gives as an idea that this island is like paradise.

Recently I attended extraordinary birthday party. My friend Tom invited me on his twenty fourth birthday. He came up with an amazing idea to make his birthday on an island. That was a small Italian island near Liguria region. He wanted it to look like from a movie about pirates. Everyone was supposed to wear special costumes. This birthday party was during the summer, so that was a perfect time for such celebration in this kind of place, because everyone could feel like on holiday.

For quite a long time I was preparing for this celebration. Finally I found a perfect costume, blinding evening dress similar to Keyra Nightle’s dress in Pirates of Caribbean. Also finding proper present for that occasion was quite problematic too. Fortunately my mum came up with incredible idea to buy huge wooden chest and pack there sport equipment, because Tom was very fond of table tennis. Everything was hidden in enormous number of chocolates wrapped in golden papers so they looked like a secret treasures.

The whole celebration was truly incredible. Tom organized huge amount of interesting games. For instance, we were searching for treasure and it was not an easy thing to do because the island was full of secret places. In the evening glittering Chinese lanterns were hang on trees. That created mysterious atmosphere. We were sitting at the fire in a small cottage and we were singing pirate songs and drinking rum. At midnight we could observe lights from Cinque Terre flickering in the distance.

I will definitely never forget this celebration. It was the greatest birthday party I have ever been to. It was wonderful, original and entertaining. The whole celebration will be remembered for a long time.

It was some time before I realized that I had been turned into cat. The first thing I noticed was that I was sitting on the floor instead of on the chair. My clothes were in a heap by the chair as if I had just stepped out of them. On the small table the glass water was still half-full of the black, bitter liquid I had drunk. I tried to stand up on two feet and succeeded in standing only on four. Then I began to walk with a curious springy motion. Suddenly the door opened and Julia came in. I tried to say “Julia” and heard myself let out a discordant “ miaow”!

“How could it happen?”- I asked myself. I was scared. I didn’t know what to do. I felt as if I were in Harry Potter movie. Julia came to me and asked “Who are you?”. “How did you get here?”- she whispered with sweet voice as I jumped on her legs. She started petting me gently and softly. I really wanted to be human back again, even though Julia was very kind to me, the whole situation was really awkward. I wanted to tell her that I was somehow miserably turned into cat, but I couldn’t find a way to communicate that. “That must be some kind of a horrible nightmare”- I thought to myself. I really wanted to nip myself, but being a cat it was not an easiest thing to do. “How the hell I’m going to do that”- I muttered. I jumped on the window sill and glanced at the crowded street. “The must be a way to break the spell”- I thought to myself. I jumped out of the window, with one fluid movement, on the stairs outside the building and with a blink of an eye I was standing on a pavement. I walked through few cross-streets and suddenly I realized that I was surrounded by enormously huge group of cats. They started speaking with human voices and that was pretty scary for me. They told me that the reason why I was turned into cat was the fact that probably in my family for a few centuries there were people who were able to turn into cats. Also they informed me that breaking the spell it’s quite easy. I need to go during a new moon on the moorland meadow and say: “ Cat I am, and cat shell be till my mind agree…” I was so glad to hear that, I rushed to the moorland meadow which was outside the town. I knew that today was going to be new moon. I waited there patiently until there was proper time and I told breaking -spell sentence.

When I came back home I felt so enormously good in my own body. I wanted tell Julia what had happened, but I was sure that she wouldn’t believe me, that was obvious. I told her that I fell asleep in park and that I had a strange dream that I was turned into cat. She laughed at me and told that I’m really imaginative person. Now, being in my own body back again I really appreciate who I am.
